hi dad, happy father's day.
hi l, thanks. say, is it raining there? i saw on wgn on the cable that you're supposed to have rain.
nope, it's not raining yet dad.
you all are having real up and down weather this month.
yes, we have dad.
and so on.
most of my conversations with my father go something like this. he apparently spends most of his retirement life in arizona watching wgn news on cable and wondering about our weather here in chicago.
