the dreams i have when i oversleep are convoluted mini movies...sometimes they involve drama and cheesy car chases, sometimes they play out like soap operas, and sometimes they're just fucking weird.
an example: i dreamt that i was in a posh restaurant, waiting for someone. d. walked in wearing this ugly hot pink shirt. i was completely shocked to see him but he walked right past me. later when i was being seated at a table we passed by where d. was sitting and he pulled me onto his lap and started talking to me in a low voice about a lot of things that actually happened between us in real life. as he was talking to me he suddenly became t, who continued the conversation started by d. and who ended it with "it's not your fault i'm dead."
delightful. i love being tormented by my subconscious when what i really need is restful slumber.
