the two kids i take care of have gymnastics class once a week. the classes meet in a huge glass-enclosed gym at the community center. i was standing in the waiting room with all the prada-clad, perfectly coiffed, cell-phone yappin' north shore moms today when suddenly...i hear THIS behind me:
YOU FUCKING BITCH! YOU FUCKED WITH ME ONCE TOO OFTEN!!!
i turned around and two of the stepford moms were going at it - hitting each other while everyone else just stared. it was a sight to behold. the smaller of the two was really getting beat up so i asked one of the other people to go get someone from the front desk and i stepped in between the fighters and said "Knock it off, there are kids here!" which actually stopped them, thank God. they stared at each other for a minute and then one of them stormed out and the other one looked at me and said nothing. eesh.
there are a lot of very fucked up lives being led in very posh skins...
