without going into too much detail, some friends of mine have three kids who are suffering from a genetic immune disorder. medical treatments for the kids are harsh and exorbinantly expensive - to the point that a fundraiser was held for them yesterday to help offset some of their bills. the calm and positive way these people deal with what would break others is truly inspirational to me. i am in awe.
