my way of dealing with this health crisis is to avoid situations where other people are going to act concerned or solicitous toward me. if i let that door open even a crack, a flood of tears and panic will wash out.
so i sit here alone, wanting someone to hold my hand but fearful of what that will bring.
just get me through this week.
