After weeks of having his schedule in disarray and then dealing with a bunch of sad adults the past few days, my older charge had a total meltdown today. The poor little guy. I'm glad he was able to get it out, though. It reminded me (on a smaller scale) of the time when one of my nephews went absolutely apeshit after my sister lost a baby. Kids want to know WHY things happen and sometimes there is no good or comforting answer to that question.
