The charges and I were outside and they disappeared around the side of the house -- I went after them and the older one said, "No, go sit down we're doing a surprise" (words that could mean anything...) I sat down on the step and about 3 minutes later they came back around the house and presented me with a beautiful bouquet of dandelions and part of a lilac bush...the younger one showed me how to carry them so I wouldn't "smush them all up". This may strike some of you as incredibly corny, but it's things like this that make me love my job so much...
