Went out to do some errands and while walking home down Division street, stumbled upon the aftermath of a stabbing in front of the ersatz SRO next to Paper Doll. The stab-ee was one of the Rite Liquors bums - he was laying on the sidewalk telling the EMT's that he'd been shot 4 times and stabbed twice and he'd be back home in a few hours...no big deal. The story is that one of his drinking buddies took issue over a debt and knifed him, then walked over to the police station and turned himself in.

How truly delightful.
