And I find myself home early...and I found a very nice phone message inviting me to a reading at the Newberry tonight and dinner afterwards...but I also want to go see "L'Auberge Espagnole" with Justin...and...I will probably just stay in and eat a bowl of cereal and start packing for my trip...

Last night's giddiness has faded and left a surreal residue on my mood today...still good, but somewhat stunned.

Not sure if declining the invite will be a major social faux pas, but I think I'm staying in. Perhaps the inviter would be amenable to meeting for coffee later...I will see.
