Had a long day - older charge was once again upset by the Sept. 11th doings at school, though not as badly upset as he was last year...spent a good portion of the afternoon reassuring him and helping him decipher the facts from the fiction some of his more creative classmates were passing around at lunch...

Did some running around earlier, including a stop at the grocery store where I watched a frail, elderly woman being wheeled around roughly by her very bitchy and unhelpful "caregiver". Grrr....

Out to the sister's tomorrow to keep her company - she's going to be bedridden for a few days. I told her she better be nice or I'll go all "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane" on her ass...ha. Actually, I'm quite looking forward to having a large chunk of time with her - none of the kids will be home so it will be a good opportunity to talk.
