Woke up about 25 minutes ago...wandered into the kitchen where the moon was still shining in, defying the sun that was just starting to glow on the horizon.

Made some coffee and sat on my couch watching the early morning workers heading over to the subway stop...Watched the limo driver who lives across the street pull in to pick his wife up. He drives her to work every morning; they always greet each other as if they've been separated for months...

And then the sun started peeking its pink face over the tops of the buildings and trees...

I like being up early.
