S.'s friend Brad drove us out to this town to show us something very disturbing. A few years ago, it was fields and shacks and a few old buildings on a main street. Enter the architects and planners of Post Properties, who have created the scariest, whitest, most Disney-esque enclave I have ever seen.

It has the feel of one of those Twilight Zone episodes where everything looks perfect but you know there is absolutely no soul underneath. The sidewalk cafe is called... The Sidewalk Cafe. We passed some women in maids uniforms who were pushing a big garbage cart down the street, keeping things clean. They were the only non-whites we saw. I was afraid if we got out of the car we might be arrested by the Addison Circle "committee" and never be seen again until they had reprogrammed us.

Apparently, Post is creating these little facades all over the country. Be afraid, America. Be very afraid.
