S. and I were stressing mightily about the wedding tonight... So, thinking it might be amusing (or horrifying) enough to divert our emotions, I suggested we research cake toppers.

Imagine our joy when we discovered the NASCAR cake topper.

Of course, the buck and doe in heat topper would really class up the affair...

We also found a lot of sites that will custom-make cake toppers to look just like the bride and groom.

Using the price guide on the site, we figured that this charming couple spent $4,500 on their figurine, which features the bride's stuffed animal collection.

But then, some of the guests might drop acid, in which case this would be a more realistic rendering of S. and me.

But my vote is a custom creation from this 15-year-old-kid because he seems charmingly unable to make his renderings look anything like the couple they represent.
