The day after Thanksgiving, S. and I ate lunch with his folks at a beach-side restaurant. The menu offered up several meaty options, many of which included the enigmatically-monikered "salad boat". I figured this was some fancy salad creation - served, perhaps, in a wooden, boat-shaped vessel. In fact, it was a boat-shaped salad bar.
