Thanksgiving was spent in parts south. Highlights included watching S.'s cousin shoot water moccasins out of some trees at a cattle tank, a drive around S.'s hometown (enhanced by our in-car karaoke rendition of "Reunited"), and an overnight stay at a Motel 6 where untold mystery and intrigue awaited...
One of the first things I noticed was this "no-smoking" sign in our non-smoking room...
which was actually....an ashtray! We stole it.
Then I stepped into the bathroom to find it equipped with not only the usual sink and toilet but a transporter as well!
We celebrated our good luck with a sink full of beer.
