I just got back from A's funeral. Her brother (the one who turned his back on her years ago and didn't do a fucking thing for her while she was ill) gave a speech about how Ann's cancer affected HIM, how her mental problems affected HIM, and then iced the cake by portraying her as some kind of hopeless mental case. Totally negative. The fact of the matter is that this woman was working at a job she loved, was self-sufficient and very functional which is unusual for someone with her problems. ASSHOLE.
