if you live in or near chicago, there is a really good cemetery tour this weekend at forest home cemetery in forest park. tours start at 1:00 and leave every ten minutes. forest home has some really interesting historical aspects - the haymarket martyrs' memorial is there (as is emma goldman), along with various other chicago notables and oddballs. the tour is usually very well organized and the cemetery is really beautiful. forest home is on des plaines avenue just south of the eisenhower.
