Spent part of the day at my sister's celebrating yet another nephew's bday...this is the child who refused to take off his Spidey pj's for last year's Christmas card, and at the last minute did a webslinging action pose...
...despite the psycho look on his face, he is a very bright and engaging child...

It has been raining most of the day, interspersed with bursts of beautiful sunshine. The sky has cleared now and I feel an evening walk comin' on...

There are rumors afoot that one of the best live-music venues in town is losing its entertainment license...I really hope not.

And speaking of live entertainment, you must all attend this show or die: 
. If you're not into the movies, Heather's shows are always well-attended by members of the Chicago alt-country gliteratti, so you can just come to gawk at famous people...like me! (HAW-HAW)
