And hand-wringing...and wondering what it all meant...and feeling like something was going to happen...and my inability to shake him...

Well, something did happen. It happened to both of us the night we met...and after a somewhat twisting journey, we are about to see what can be done about it.

I think that's about as much as I want to share for now...if only because my attempts at trying to explain this usually end up being couched in some tired old expression. There are only two of us who really know what happened and what IS happening and that's all that really matters for now.

I will add this: this experience has solidified some long-held beliefs about life and how things come to us when we're truly ready...it's one thing to think that and quite another to have it shown to you in such a personal and magnificent way.
