I am having birth control issues that are making me tense. There are not a lot of safe AND convenient options for women over 40 (further complicated for me because I've had cancer). Screw you, modern medicine.

It rained hard all day yesterday. This meant the charge and I were stuck inside, which sucked. We managed to stay busy with some new books and music cd's and in the afternoon I built him a tent out of a blanket and two large chair -- a big hit. We sat in the tent reading books for almost an hour and when his mom came home he escorted her into the tent for more reading. I am still amazed by the fact that I get paid to do this work.

Except that troubling stint as a banker in the early 80's. Oh, and that job writing telemarketing scripts.

Starting last weekend, S. and I have no free time alone until mid-July. This is due to an influx of visitors and a few trips we will be making to visit relatives. I hope we can survive.
