Veg and I met for hooch and as predicted, dined on Gold Star popcorn. (It's the Flavacol that makes it so nutritious!) In any event, drinks were had, conversation was good (if a bit drunken on my part) and all is well in the world.

S. had a hell of day yesterday...he sounded wiped out when we spoke last night. And there is now a second party being planned, for which he is totally game...which in turn makes me feel like an idiot for all my hand-wringing over meeting his friends. I miss him.
